Yesterday was a great guild meeting! We had an extra long show and tell since last month was our fiber festival! I haven't been to a meeting in months due to the craziness of summer! I showed off my sweater, my lace shawl (I did finish the body of it yesterday and started the border today). I also got to share that I got my lovely wheel over the summer.
My favorite things about guild meetings are the showing off of handmade things and the amount of things I learn! Yesterday I learned how to card wool. It was really cool since I got to see how wool sheared right from the sheep is processed into the roving that I use to spin.
Today has been a lazy kind of day. I spent the morning reading the end of a book and then I went out shopping for a little bit. I had a nice time. Tomorrow is going to be nuts! I have to start my new schedule of traveling to several buildings. I'm happy that I will be at building where I already know a few people. It should be crazy and fun!
