Hand-Dying

I did it! I dyed my first yarn today!! It was awesome! Here are the skeins before I dyed them:

I thought that the pot I bought would be able to fit both skeins, but it didn't! It only fits one! Here is my too small pot:

I bought grape Kool-aid for my dye. I bought 8 packs, 4 for each skein.

Here is the first skein dying... I am so proud that I didn't make a mess while doing this!

Now both skeins are drying in the shower. I'll take picks once they have dried tomorrow. I think that I'll dye yarns again with other colors!
