A-Mazing Corn Maze

Last night a group of us from school went out together to run around in a giant corn maze. It was pitch black so we needed our flashlights, but it was a ton of fun! They give you a map that is missing. You have to collect the pieces of the map as you wander though the maze. They time stamp your map so you can see how long it takes you. There were 12 pieces to find all together, and 2 hours later, we had ten of them and left the maze. It was really cool.
The maze is a huge design challenge. This year's shape was a barn, windmill, and field picture. Every year they change what the maze looks like. In the summer they design what they want on a computer and then hire a company to come out and plant the corn so that it will go into the maze for the year. They harvest the corn and then open it for the public to go though. I had never heard of this before and it was a great time! I loved it!! I'd like to go again next year if the weather is nice. It was the perfect night. It was warm and we could see all the stars in the sky. Once you are in the maze at night there is NO lights! You need flashlights or you wander around blindly (some people were doing that....)We had dinner before hand and it was a great time!
