Yes, lots of black eyeliner is needed at the goth club, for boy and girls. I HAD A GREAT TIME! The outfits were great! One girl had on a skull cap with devil horns and then she had on bat wings. It was cool. I even saw guys in skirts with more changes that I thought could fit on them. The music was mostly techno, which I like. They did do some slower stuff (not slow dance music though) and that was when the goths really boogied! Their style of dance is very fluid and focused only on you and not everyone else. It's pretty cool. I tried it, and I just kept laughing. I was told by a goth that I had to be more mopey and somber. Oh well. I was smiley and laughing all night. My friend and I watched the dancing for a while and didn't join right away. There was a scary guy who kept dancing near where we were sitting and staring at us. Hummm... he was just creepy. My friend went to the bathroom at one point and I stayed to watch the dancing. This huge goth dude asked me first why I wasn't dancing and then told me we need to get out there. When we finally did dance he wanted to dance with me. I feel bad, but I used my friend as a bit of a shield. Being that I'm married, I'm not there to meet boys. In fact, I just wanted to have a fun night out. My friend is also married so we had a great time together! I want to go again some time! I'll try to be more mopey and somber next time! HA HA!
PS- I think I've got the hang of putting on eyeliner. It looked decent and not like a total train wreck... all though train wreck would have fit in nicely! ^_^
