We arrived home from our vacation last night. It was a great trip despite all the rain we encountered. Every night except one it rained on us. However the days were dry! Hubby and I both caught a cold, and we hiked around and saw some beautiful waterfalls. We also went to Mammoth Cave National Park to do some cave exploring. Here is some of what we saw:
The deer here are very brave. They have no natural enemies so they feel that they can go where they like.
The one night it didn't rain... we saw the sunset.
Entering Mammoth Cave. There are no more picts from the cave because they all came out weird, so I stopped taking the camera on the cave tours.
We made a stop at Lincoln's birth place. This was a cabin that they thought he was born and lived in for a little while.
My favorite site was a pink Mary Kay Caddie! I've never seen a real one!! That was so funny to me.
We had so much fun and we saw a lot of really cool stuff. I'll try to post more picts after I get them all organized!
