Home Again

Hubby and I didn't want to leave...we were having too much fun! On Aug. 10 we did go to her parents house with them. It was the first day that we really stopped and relaxed. They drove us to their house with a stop at a temple along the way. The drive was pretty, but I slept though most of it. The house that her parents live in is about a minute walk from his work. I was so jealous of his commute!
Aug. 11 we spent the day going to Toyoka. We drove to Date and saw a really old temple there, and then we ate lunch in Aputa. I had a lunch of sea urchin over rice and hubby had this:
We then went to Toyoka to see the lake and an active volcano! It was also the home of the G8 summit this year. It was cool to see that the welcome center was all green powered. It was a also a educational center so we could learn about volcanoes.
Aug. 12 was our final day. We got up early, had our last Japanese breakfast and checked if we had everything to go. It was a lot of traveling and flying time yesterday! We made it back late last night and are a bit jet lagged. I'll try and get picts up tomorrow!
